Rachel Mary is a director, performer, educator, storyteller and clown with ADHD.
She likes to make work that celebrates people being unapologetically themselves.
Rachel loves a good story, hates being bored and relies on her short attention span to keep things interesting, so shows often jump around from theatre to clowning, music, movement, comedy, spoken word and back again.
Rachel’s devised work includes collaborations with Arts Council England, StrikeUp Theatre, GymJam, Rosetta Life, Flintlock Theatre, Interakt, The Watermill, Make/Sense, Reading Mencap, South Street Arts Centre, Progress Youth Theatre, as well as schools, universities, and pupil referral units.

This Show Is In My Head is Rachel’s first ever solo show.
Workshops & Community Projects

Her wider creative practice is highly collaborative, with projects typically emerging from long-term creative partnerships with close-knit communities or groups.
Educator

In recent years, empowered by her own ADHD diagnosis, Rachel has delighted in working with neurodivergent adults and young people, as well as anyone who has ever felt ‘naughty’, ‘disruptive’ or ‘a bit of an outsider.’
